It is sad the place says that it closes at 10pm I arrived at 9:05 pm and they did not attend me because according to the cooks they had already closed the kitchen instead of attending the last client in an hour they still have time to serve 2 people ... .?
Great Food!Friendly Place, Very good Portions. We will be back for sure!
The restaurant was great Puerto Rican food, it is always a good spot when the truly cultured are in the restaurant! Now ,the cleanliness needs some work the flies were harsh in there. But service was moderate. The lunch specials are way better.
MoreDelicious food, waiters were very kind and the music volume was nice, I enjoyed and will be returning whenever im in the mood for PR food.
MoreFood was good, big portions for lunch. Jared was great, however the GM Joel, no customer service skills at all.
MoreDelicious 😋 Caribbean food 🍲 and drinks! Tasty food not spicy 🔥 but you can add some pique.
MoreGood comfort food for a great price! I'm so happy I found this place it brings me back to New York❤ people are really nice too. I definitely recommend this restaurant
MoreI get to eat here a lot since I work right next to it. I got to say the customer service is always excellent and they keep the spot clean consistently. Pricing is convenient and they serve sizeable portions.
MoreI’m only basing this off my family is from Puerto Rico, comparing with home food and other Latin restaurants. It’s not bad, it’s good not great!
More! Food was ok but the service was not good, waited almost 45 minutes for the food, the waiter we had to signal him to come to our table for a refill and even after we ate I had to call him for the check. Didn't even stop by the table to see if everything was good or if we needed anything. All the waiters were just standing in front of the bar just chatting away because it wasn't busy when we went. Like I said, the food was good but not the service
MoreFood was excellent. Service was good however English wasn't so hot. We managed thru the language barrier and was pleased with portion, presentation and flavor. Will go back
MoreJibarito's Latin Kitchen is definitely someplace I would like to have the pleasure of returning to. From the quaint and homey eating area to the quality of service, this eatery is one that makes you feel comfort while dining. All of the dishes are cooked quite flavourfully and nothing is either raw or over-cooked. Their rice dishes are all seasoned to perfection and moist without being gloppy, their stew meat is nice and tender, and their beans are as good as they can get. My personal favourite was their mofongo, which was soft, smooth, and full of that delicious fried Latin taste. It could be paired nicely to any one of their other dishes. Though there are a couple of dishes that are on the pricey side, in general, most of their menu items are quite reasonably priced. This is a place that I will be returning to and highly recommend to any fan of Hispanic cuisine.
MoreI had a great experience here and will definitely try it again.
Best Puertorican food and exc service.
Food was great! Very clean! We had a wonderful time! Excellent service "Carlos"!
The food was so excellent!! The food was so great that I ordered on to go! I ordered the Churrasco and Mamposteao Rice!! Very tender and seasoned very well! Noel and Judith were great! He did and excellent job preparing the meal and she was kind and professional!
MoreMofongo is hollow once you flip it. Caldo de pollo taste like beef stew & very salty. Carne frita was too greasy & not enough of anything for $16.00.
MoreAtmosphere is absolutely wonderful. Staff were very friendly. Food was delicious love the Marc Anthony music. Que Rico....
MoreI ate here twice after the 2nd time I realized it's just not that great here. I recommend going to Adobe in Irving on N Beltline rd. Or google the Puerto Rican spot in Plano if your in those areas.
MoreThe food was great. We tried a little bit of several items. The timing of our visit made the difference, we went a little later so we we had to make up our minds pretty quick but the staff was great. The manager came out to ask about how we liked the food and the atmosphere. We would go back.
MoreDelicious food and very nice ambien, makes me feel back at home!
Lots of authentic Latin Cusine, in a quaint location. The restaurant was well equipped and the servers were helpful. We were a party of nine (9), and they handled us with ease.
MoreI am not sure how the food is here however as a delivery driver they are rude and not professional. Not to mention took longer then was told which made my customer upset. Just poor service
MoreLike if you were in PR. The seasoning of food is on point. The mojitos are good!
I was not going to put this review on Google, but one of the employees just completely upset me. First of all, there was a worm in my steak which was a to go order! Now, that is not even the upsetting part, as I recognize that NO restaurant wants to put out bad food and they cannot control that part. The worse part for me was when I called to speak to the owner and one (male) of his employees would not transfer me to talk to him unless I gave him details as to why I wanted to speak with the owner....as if he owned the place. Because I refused to talk to him, he hung up the phone on 4 different occassions. And due to that employee being so rude is the reason I am posting this review. I eventually talked to the owner and told him that he needed to train his people.
MoreClosest thing to a Puerto Rican home cooked meal. The only thing missing was the beach
MoreAt the moment you step in that place the personel give you a good feeling. Very warm stuff, it is a happy place to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. yummy food, talented chief cook and stuff, comfortable cost and nice service. Highly recommended.
MoreFirst time here! We have not had a good seafood risotto in a long time. Just so hard to find around here. This place has it. Very tasty. Loved the olives, mussels and shrimp as well as the fried plantains! Will be back again! Next time will try steak and Ceviche.
MoreI just had a fabulous Cuban! The best one in decades! Run, don't walk if you love Cuban sandwiches!
MoreWow! What an awesome gem to find in Bedford. Fabulous service, food, and happy hour (3-7 pm weekdays). We ordered the fried chicken and the mofongo (mashed plantains) with steak. I highly recommend both dishes. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and authenticity of the food. We will be back often.
MoreVery good and special on time and fresh food
I never been to that restaurant and I don't need to iam puerto rican and i cook it at home😋 but i do support my puertorriqueño especially any restaurant that they got here in Texas and if they take forever to cook your food that's because when we cook the food we make it with love and good time we make sure you get the right Taste of the food and more also if you know you're not going to be patience please do not come to that restaurant but if you are willing to taste a little bit of the Caribbean then come enjoy the food with patience💪💪💪💪💪💪 😉😋😋😋😋
Moremy first time for Puerto Rican food. Love their food but it was a long wait. We ordered stuffed chicken breast and chicken n rice.
MoreFirst time visit on me and my wife's anniversary. We wanted to try something different. We started with the mini beef Empanadas. Excellent pastry with a delicious beef filling. My wife ordered the Beef Cutlet With Onions. Such a great flavor! I got the Skirt Steak With Chimichurri Sauce. Skirt steak is normally fairly tough, but this was much more tender than expected. Loved the sauce. Both entrees came with beans and rice, both reminding me of the Carribean. We ended the evening with Vanilla Flan. One of the best I've had. The food here is simple, yet bursting with flavor. Nothing is overbearing. Can't recommend Jibarito's enough. Happy Hour is 3-7 M-F with $2.75 draft beer, and $3.75 Mojito's and Margaritas.
MoreAs a fellow puertorican, I always like supporting my Boricua family. I took a trip to Texas from Oklahoma to try this place since it had such great reviews and I was missing my mom's cooking. We ordered empanadillas, carne frita, mofongo, tostones, pollo y arroz con gandules. The food was amazing. The server was really friendly. The only complaint I have is the juices. They did not taste authentic or natural at all. I ordered a parcha drink ( passion fruit) and it tasted like a can drink or powder mix. They did give me another drink, the Tamarindo juice, it was better but pretty much same concept. I should have stuck with a Malta or soda. Besides that, I give it a 5 star because the food was delicious and worth the drive.
MoreGreat place. It's a bit small on the inside, but the service and food well makes up for it. My wife ordered the Mofungo Relleno with fried pork, and I ordered the Chuleta Kan-Kan which is a fried pork chop/rib. The meat was really juicy, but the skin was nice and crispy. It's a very nice casual place that's perfect for date night.
MoreIt is so good to have a place where you can experience excellent "boricua" food! I have visited in three occasions, and every time the food exceeds my expectations! I was honored today for trying their owner's Sangria, superb! Congrats to the Chef and staff!
MoreBest Puertorican food around, and great service
Great Puerto Rican food, very well cooked and great portions definitely check them out...100x35
MoreFood is great, But service not so good!
